Thank you for taking a moment to stop by and share in my journey. This journey started in February of 2009 and I am hoping to stay strong. Every time you leave a comment it truly encourages me to stay healthy. Thank you to everyone who has ever left a comment and to everyone who will leave a comment in the future. You would be surprised how easily you can encourage someone with just a few words. If you would like to see a little bit of where I was, please check out my first post on Day 1. I have been encouraged by so many other healthy bloggers out there as well. This journey will last me a life time because it truly has to be a lifestyle commitment. I also hope that you can be encouraged by my small triumphs. Thank you all for your support!

The Simple Life Challenge

So, I have joined in The Simple Life Challenge over at N Her Shoes and I find that is such a great idea. The biggest challenge is making sure to eat every meal at home because sometimes when it gets time to make dinner, I am so exhausted. This challenge will last through the month of May and there are some great prizes which I would LOVE to win.

Just also throwing out the Mac 'N' Cheese question. We bought this gigantic box of Mac 'N' Cheese probably a year ago and I would hate to throw it away but I need to figure out different ways to cook it or add to it so it's not the same thing over and over. Please send any suggestions my way.

I'm trying to get back in the groove of writing again since it's been a while. I will be posting more pics of the going ons of life soon, too. I hope every has had a great week and is has fun things planned for the weekend!

This weekend is pretty packed for us! Tonight we have Family Fun Friday. I belive we are going to barbecue some Turkey Burgers, and watch a movie outside under the stars. Saturday morning I am coaching my son's soccer game and then my brother and his wife are throwing a late baby shower in the afternoon for my new nephew Terrence. Then Sunday is Mother's Day so of course there will be festivities. Sunday afternoon my dad is barbecuing for lunch and then we will go to my in-laws for dinner. That will be full of lots of pictures.

Part of The Simple Life Challenge suggestion is making gifts for people instead of buying them. I have some good ideas for Mother's Day but not sure if I could pull it off.

Question of the Day: If you were to make a gift for your mom, what would you make?
